Due to expansion Shiell Family Transport are looking for experienced and energetic Truck Drivers to join our Team.
This opportunity is based out of Colac for highly motivated truck driver with a proven commitment to safety that are looking for a successful career in a progressive company.
This position is for an experienced MC or HC licensed drivers.
Our truck drivers are based on an attractive and rewarding pay structure.
The successful applicants will have knowledge of the Chain of Responsibility requirements as well as working within fatigue management guidelines.
These positions require the applicants to perform driving duties whilst adhering to all OH&S, site and contractual obligations.
The right candidates will have great communication skills and a friendly nature, with proven experience in maintaining strong relationships with customers and contractors.
The successful applicants will have:
- Minimum Multi-Combination (MC) or (HC) licence
- Forklift licence with experience but, not mandatory.
- Previous transport experience & a clear understanding of road transport regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
- Mechanical aptitude preferred again not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Positive and well composed attitude
- Basic Fatigue Management will be of advantage, or willing to obtain.
