Freight Specialists is a growing National carrier specialising in regional distribution throughout Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Driver/Storeman at our Perth depot located in Welshpool. This role requires someone who is able to switch between tasks and who is comfortable in either a truck or in a warehouse environment as well as on a forklift.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Local Deliveries / pick-ups
• Load restraint
• Warehouse Picking / Packing
• Hand unloading may be required for some deliveries
• Accurate reporting on driver runsheet
• Pre-start checks on equipment

Education & Qualifications

• Current HR and forklift licence.
• Bulk DG licence would be highly regarded.

Experience

• Previous transport and driving experience.
• Must be happy working in either the truck or the warehouse, depending on the requirements of the day.
• Possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and efficient.
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Excellent attention to detail as well as possessing the strength for physical labour.
• A good knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas.

Pre Employment

• Must produce a current Driving History print prior to interview and copy of license.
• Must be willing to undergo a Criminal Background Check.
• Pre Employment Medical required for all successful applicants.
