David Campbell Transport

We are currently seeking a competent MC Driver for our busy transport company based in Forrestdale.  This is an important role that assists in the smooth running of the day to day operations of the business.

Duties will include, but are not limited to :

• Country Deliveries
• Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers using a forklift
• Checking received freight to ensure quantities and item description match to delivery dockets.
• Some Manual handling will be required at times.
• Yard and Warehousing organising
• General Yard Duties

To be successful for this position you will require :

• Current MC License
• Dangerous Goods Licence Required
• Current Forklift License
• Current Commercial Drivers Medical
• Current Fatigue Management Certificate
• Experience in load restraint for various freight items
• Previous Transport Yard Experience
• Access to own reliable transport
• Excellent Communication Skills, confident to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision, honest and reliable attitude and be a team participant who is co-operative and has a can-do manner.

This role varies from day to day – no two days are the same.
