Designer Transport is an established Australian business with 10 years’ experience in the furniture delivery and installation field, working for some of Australia’s most recognised furniture brands.
Due to business expansion, Designer Transport are looking for experienced MR Drivers to start immediately in ongoing roles. Working Mon-Fri no weekends.
This work can be physically demanding so a good level of fitness is required. We are located in Turrella NSW.
We deliver New Furniture as well as antiques, used furniture, and picking up and delivering showroom furniture.
Great customer service skills and mature personal presentation is a must as you will be delivering business to business dealing directly with our customers and clients.
To be successful for this role you must be:
Have a current Medium Rigged license, not suspended
Physically fit
Have Great communication skills
Requirements:
Committed to learning and professional development
Start at our Depot at 7am
Great customer service & communication skills
The ability to work within a team environment
Responsibilities and Duties will include:
Driving to various locations around the CBD and surrounding suburbs.
Handle, carry and install furniture.
Heavy repetitive lifting
Careful loading and loading of furniture
Ability to secure, strap and tie all types and styles of Furniture
Working in fast paced environment
