Multi Drop Delivery Driver and packer – BYO van ( Snack Proud )

Job Summary:

Snack Proud is a Sydney based company that distributes healthy snacks to offices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring orders packed correctly, and all orders are processed efficiently within customer guidelines. The successful candidate will directly report to the Warehouse Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Pick and Pack

• Efficient & accurate pick packing of customer orders.
• Ensure products are properly packed, not damaged and not expired.
• Record any changes in the customer order, such us out of stock or for replacement/swap item.
• Receiving incoming stock and processing into our inventory system for any discrepancies from purchase orders.
• Advise manager of products that are low in stock.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and safe manner.

Delivery

• Deliver products in an effective and timely manner to our clients who are mostly in the city.
• 1 day per week deliveries will start at 3.30am to avoid traffic congestion.
• Restocking shelves in some of our client's offices.

Requirements

• Hold permanent Australian residency.
• BYO van.
• Clean driver’s license.
• Multi Drop experience.
• Reside in Sydney and have an excellent knowledge of the Sydney metro area.
• Merchandising experience would be a bonus but is not essential (training will be provided).
• Attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of warehouse and transport operations preferably in the food industry.
• Physically fit with the ability to load and unload truck within safety guidelines.
• Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude.
• Customer-focused and good at building interpersonal relationships.
• Good communication, time and organisational skills.

Hours and Remuneration

• Hours will be between 14 – 18 per week but may vary from time to time.
• Overtime may be available occasionally. As we are growing, hours are likely to increase in the new year.
• The role will be split between packing and driving over 3 or 4 shifts a week.
• $27 per hour.
• $1.00 per KM for use of your van

Salary: $25.00 to $28.00 /hour

Experience:

• commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

• Driver's Licence (Required)
