Tallangatta Meat Processors presents an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced TRUCK DRIVERS to join our expanding company. Smiths TMP is a family run business in its third generation, located at the foothills of the Victorian Alps where the Murray and Kiewa rivers meet. We pride ourselves with environmentally clean and green farming lands ideal for growing lamb to meet our customer’s expectations.
We are currently recruiting for casual and on-going truck drivers for shifts running from Tallangatta to Melbourne return and from Tallangatta to Sydney return. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates. Full-time roles are also available for the right candidate. Working hours are based on Monday to Friday.
Duties include:
- HC Driving
- Safe vehicle operations
- Customer Service
- Pre-vehicle checks
- Pick up and delivery from Lamb carcasses
- Paperwork and admin tasks
The right applicants will meet the following requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles
- Heavy Combination License
- Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) preferred
- Excellent communication skills & customer focused attitude
- Reliable, committed, on time, and positive work attitude
- Willing to undergo drug and alcohol test
