Must have experience within the timber industry. Having experience with a small truck mounted crane and/or having been in the construction industry is preferable.
As a small timber and fencing business we are looking for a reliable yardsperson with a valid forklift licence & hopefully an MR truck licence who is able to work alone with minimal supervision.
Must have experience within the timber industry. Having experience with a small truck mounted crane and/or having been in the construction industry is preferable. As we make our own steel framed gates we require someone who has had welding experience. A welding certificate is not required, someone who is willing to use a MIG welder would fit this position well.
If interested in this position you will be required to use a forklift, prepare & pull orders, load and unload orders, strap timber packs, cut timber & steel, cut palings, keeping the yard clean, tidy and maintained including gardens and if you have the MR Truck licence make occasional deliveries, pick up orders,
Must have good people skills and be reliable.
At this point in time the position is on a casual basis with the opportunity to become permanent. Hours may vary from 20-40 hours per week. We only work Monday to Friday. Our shop hours are 6:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary: $26.70 /hour
