Savanna Energy is a leading international energy services provider with primary service offerings in conventional drilling, hybrid drilling and well servicing. Savanna Energy's business operations in Australia are based out of Toowoomba. Our business works in partnership with a number of leading energy providers globally. We currently have the exciting opportunity for a Truck Driver to work as important of our team.
This is a casual role and you will be paid for the days that you work (generally 2 weeks on 2 weeks off). All Savanna employees are hired out of Toowoomba, which is where you will begin and end each shift.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Supply Water to the drilling rigs
- Movement of Rig equipment between leases
- Adhoc tasks as directed by the Rig Manager
- Compliance with AFM requirements
- NHVAS awareness and compliance
To be considered for this position, you will possess:
- MC licence
- Experience in operating Road Trains – preference for a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Experience in moving Rig equipment an advantage but not essential
- Previous experience in load restraint
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- A strong team player who can interact at all levels
- The ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with work colleagues
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and within government and company requirements
- A strong safety focus with a clean driving record
- The ability to work away for a period of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off in remote locations living in camp conditions
