ATA Distributors was established in 1973 and are importers and distributors of a range of products in the areas of adhesive tapes, packaging systems, adhesives, abrasives, and other related products. Currently based in Port Melbourne but moving to Dandenong by the end of the year, we are now looking for warehouse staff to join our fantastic team
The role will be hands on and physical and include picking and packing of customer orders, unloading of trucks and containers, put away and replenishment of stock and other general warehouse duties. You will also be involved in helping us get our brand new warehouse up and running!
The ideal applicant will have the following skills/experience/licenses:
- Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic – focus on getting the job done and working as a team
- Be fit and healthy
- Possess good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Forklift license – ideal but not essential for entry level role
- Strong commitment to OH&S (formal training/qualifications would be a bonus)
- Be willing to travel to Port Melbourne until we move to Dandenong
These are full time permanent position – Monday to Friday – so we are looking for people who are keen to develop and grow with our business. Salary offered will be above Award and based upon experience and qualifications.
