Northern Hire Group are looking for a motivated person to join our busy team.
Duties will include:
• Customer service (in person and on phone) – assisting with equipment choice and demonstrating use of equipment.
• Recording of hires and returns on computerized system. Training will be provided on specialized program, however computer literacy is a must.
• General yard duties
• General maintenance of returned equipment
• Deliveries and pickups of plant & equipment within 200km radius
• Loading and unloading of plant & equipment – both manually and using a forklift
The successful candidate will require:
• HR License (minimum). Experience with tilt tray preferred but not essential
• Forklift license
• Experience in the safe loading and unloading of trucks & vehicles
• Experience in the use of building & construction plant & equipment
• Computer literacy
• Customer service experience
• A can-do attitude, be reliable, and the have ability to think on their feet and work in a fast paced environment.
This is a full-time position of approx. 40 hours per week with rotating weekend shifts (every third/fourth weekend).
