We are currently seeking to employ an experienced full time Platform Driver.
Job Summary
BlueChip Heavy Haulage & Earthmoving is proudly a privately owned family business with over 50 years' experience in the Australian Mining, Civil Earthmoving, Transport and Heavy Haulage industries with operations throughout Queensland, we are currently seeking to employ an experienced fulltime Platform Driver.
These positions are Blackwater based.
You will be required to have a company medical along with intermittent drug and alcohol testing. If you can start immediately we encourage you to apply.
This safety focused individual must be able to work unsupervised and within a team environment and have experience in all aspects of the transport and heavy haulage industry.
The successful applicant will have (but not limited to) proven experience and the following relevant qualifications:
Platform Driver:
– A minimum of 2 years experience with platforms and over dimensional loads
– Ability to complete required paperwork (NHVAS, Work Diary, Con notes etc)
– A self starter with strong time management who can follow instructions
– Team player who can interact at all levels across different cultures
– MC Drivers Licence
– BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) an advantage
– MSIC Card (an advantage)
50T Float Driver:
– MC Drivers Licence
– 50T Float Experience
– BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) an advantage
– MSIC Card (an advantage)
Transport Operators:
– MC Drivers Licence
– High, Wide and Heavy Loads
– Low Loader experience essential
– Flat-top and drop deck experience
– Float experience
– MSIC Card
– Platform experience an advantage
– BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) an advantage
– General mechanical knowledge of prime movers and trailing equipment an advantage
