Whitford Liquid Waste is a family owned business servicing Victoria for over 40 years. Due to our expanding fleet, we are seeking an experienced Truck driver / Operator to join our team.
The position involves operation of Combo Vac trucks, Hydro excavation units and a variety of equipment required to complete tasks. Upkeep of vehicles, equipment and workshop is required. A majority of the training will be provided on the job, some external training will be required.
Our goal is to build and maintain productive working relationships with our customers to ensure we offer the most efficient and cost effective services, provide solutions to their problems in a timely manner all whilst continuously improving our service, being conscious of reducing the impact to the customer and their property.
The successful applicant must be able to drive a road ranger, and have a HC licence. The employee must be able work unsupervised as well as part of a team, using initiative and troubleshooting skills. Reliability and self motivation are a must.
We are looking for someone who posses excellent communication skills, is customer focused and takes pride in their work. Must be willing to comply with Company Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, inclusive of our work methods.
Working hours are flexible, with some overtime and on call work required.
Full time position available after Casual probationary period for the right candidate. Above award wages are available for the right person, with an immediate start.
VicRoads print out, Police checks and Working with Children check will be required.
