TRUCK DRIVER HR – GEELONG – WARRNAMBOOL (and in between) CASUAL TRUCK DRIVER - HR LICENCE - GEELONG – WARRNAMBOOL (and in between) RUN CASUAL PERM HOURS - GENERAL CARTAGE
Please note: This position is classified as a casual position – however the hours are permanent- Monday- Friday – 2am to 11:30am. Immediate start required. We are a well-established and respected transport company based in Geelong, they are looking for a person for a casual (full time hours, Monday to Friday) HR driving courier position. The hours are permanent daily from 2am to 11:30am. This run is from Geelong to Warrnambool (and in between). They are paying the award rate plus super. The wage will be negotiable for the right person. Currently paying $32.00 per hour. We are looking for a person that can start immediately.
You will need to following skills
- Must have a HR Truck licence and show a current Vic Roads report
- Must live in Geelong
- Have a forklift licence is a bonus but not a job sealer
- Able to lift items which could be up to 20 kgs from time to time
- Must have a good steady work history
- Reliable, punctual, excellent time management, honest and able to get on well with the customers and other staff members
- IT Literate, follow up with paperwork
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Must keep your truck clean and tidy at all times
- Able to work overtime if and when required
- Unloading and loading trucks
- Training will be provided for this run
- This person must have a great work ethic and have a pleasant manner
- MUST NOT BE ON ANY VISA\’S MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS\’
- Able to work in the Covid safe laws
- Understand OH & S when loading and unloading the truck
