We are seeking a Truck Driver, based in Alexandria, NSW.
Driver/ Warehouse Assistant
A position for a Driver/ Warehouse Assistant has become available. The successful applicant is required to have at least 3 years driving experience particularly with a manual vehicle.
A good driving record is essential along with a valid unblemished NSW driver’s license. The applicant is required to have a customer service focus and must possess a OH&S NSW white card to deliver and enter building construction sites across Sydney.
The role entails warehouse work, driving for pick – ups and delivery of material to job sites. Applicants must be physically able to perform all duties at times, include labouring and workplace clean ups. The position is available for an immediate start.
What we require:
Excellent communication in both verbal and written
To be highly organized and possess great time management skills
Must be motivated and have eye for detail
Experience checking delivery sheets
Experience in handling packs of flooring or similar goods
Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out the warehouse include loading and unloading truck
Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadline
To be successful you must:
Be highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding customer service and communication
Able to work unsupervised and get the job done
Must have general labouring or warehouse experience
