We are a thriving Garden Supply business with two yards located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.
We are a thriving Garden Supply business with two yards located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. We are looking for two truck drivers with a medium rigid (MR), heavy rigid (HR) or heavy combination (HC) licence to join our team and help us meet growing customer demand.
These positions will be primarily driving one of our tip trucks based at our Mulgrave yard. The positions will also act as a relief driver of our Mini Mix concrete agitators. During quiet times you may be asked to perform general yard duties. Therefore a can do attitude and flexible nature are key requirements of these positions.
As we are open Monday through Saturday, your availability to work six days a week is a bonus. Although this position is listed as casual, it is an ongoing position where we expect that a full week will be worked most weeks, with regular overtime available. Full time employment may be offered at a later date.
Although the trucks are mostly loaded by machine, some manual loading will be required, so applicants must be physically fit. Some heavy lifting will be undertaken on a regular basis.
A forklift or wheel loader licence will be an advantage.
Applicants must be a team player with a can do attitude, be willing to help other team members and to undertake other duties as directed beyond driving.

Salary: $23.00 to $27.00 /hour
