With steady company growth, we have multiple positions available. We are looking for MC Driver, HC Driver, HR Driver and Yardperson to join our team.
DRIVERS POSITIONS:
Carrying out pickups and deliveries within the Brisbane and Surrounding areas. Working with General Freight as a proven driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road., this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer\’s and company\’s needs.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight, pickups and deliveries.
- Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness.
- Hold a current MC, HC, or HR licence with proven experience.
- Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries.
- DG licence desirable – training will be provided to obtain for eligible candidates.
- Forklift licence desirable
YARDPERSON POSITIONS:
In this busy full-time position we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and reliable Yardperson in our Brisbane Depot. You will be reporting to the Depot Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the yard loading, unloading and securing of general freight for our local, intrastate and interstate freight.
To be successful in this role, you will be energetic and goal oriented and posses the following skills:
- A current forklift licence essential
- Experience with loading and unloading General freight and load restraint essential
- Previous experience working with Dangerous goods is preferred
- Team oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to working within workplace healthy and safety guidelines
