We are an Australian owned and operated waste management company based in Sydney with over 10 years experience servicing the building and construction industry. We pride ourselves on always exceeding our client’s expectations with our exceptional service.
We are always looking for good Truck Drivers for our rapidly expanding fleet. Presently we have positions available to start from our Auburn or St Peters Yards.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate Skip Trucks with a focus on safety and customer courtesy
- Long hours
- Report Fit for Duty
- Secure loads mounted on trucks with chains and or straps
- Sort through waste bins as required
- Push pull and twist regularly as required
- Perform and record daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary
- Refuel and check all fluid levels of the vehicles
- Document and report faults
- Conform with driving hour restrictions & fatigue management requirements where applicable
- Report incidents and prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
Your Skills and Experience
Essential :
- Possess a current clean NSW HR/HC licence
- Must have a minimum of 2 years solid driving experience
- Current RTA driving report available
- Have a sound knowledge of the Sydney metro & surrounding areas
- Superior customer service skills
- Meticulous with paperwork, truck cleanliness& professional presentation
- Reliable, flexible, trustworthy with a positive can-do attitude
- Have the right to work in Australia
Desirable:
- BFM Certificate desirable
- Demonstrated previous experience with Skip Bins
