Crane Livestock Transport is a growing livestock transport company based in Naracoorte, South Australia.
An exciting opportunity for a part time/ floater B double driver to join the team has arisen. This position may lead to a full time position for the right person!
The job will include:
- Driving Kenworth T909s with cattle/convertible stock crates.
- Loading and unloading stock
- Being away from home for periods of time
- Washing out crates
- Interstate travel
- Regular communication with office and logistics manager.
- Completing paperwork daily
You will need to have the following:
- Current unrestricted MC Truck Licence (5 year licence printout)
- Experience in driving MC heavy vehicles
- Contactable references
- Experience with handling livestock, preferable
- Be reliable, honest, and flexible with work hours
- Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
- Must pass a medical including a drug and alcohol test
- Be physically fit and healthy
- Have pride within yourself and our equipment
