Country To Coast Transport is expanding and we are looking for a committed team player.
Who we are:
We are a very small family owned and operated transport business from Beerburrum on the Sunshine Coast. We have been in and around the transport and logistics scene for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on being reliable and professional. All our equipment is always maintained, safe and clean. We like to be well presented on the road and in person.
Things we are looking for:
A respectful, honest and trustworthy person who has a desire to drive long term with us and be part of the family and climb the ladder.
Current and valid MR manual licenced driver with experience. We are though willing to look at ‘new to driving’ applicants if your work ethic is strong. We are even willing to assist in getting your MR licence if you are with us for a minimum 12 months. (Reimburse)

Attention to detail.
Can use a mobile phone (supplied) and delivery app (not difficult)
Great communication regarding work, being sick and wanting leave.
We want someone who wants to grow with us.
What we aren’t looking for:
Someone who can only work certain hours.
Someone who has every 2nd Monday off.
We aren’t looking for someone who wants this as a fill in job or somewhere to sit back and relax.
Messy and care free.
What’s on offer:
Casual with Full Time hours +
Superannuation
Bonuses if targets are met.
$35 an hour (pending experience)
Starting time : Approx 6am….sometimes 7am.
Finish time: when the work is complete. Average day is 8 to 9 hours
No weekend work.
1-2 week training period before you are off on your own. This time will give you ample understanding of both sides of the business and what is required on your behalf.
The 1st Truck:
2012 Hino 14000 GVM with a 8.5T payload and a 7.4m flat deck tray, 6 speed manual in A1 condition.
The 2nd Truck:
2006 Izuzu 10000 GVM with a 5T payload and a 6m flat deck tray, 6 speed manual in great condition also.
Current truck:
1989 Mitsubishi Fuso that you may have to drive from time to time (training will be shown in this truck to make sure you can drive both trucks)
6 speed manual 4.5T Flat deck truck.
The Work:
Primarily (90%) the work will be fork on fork off work delivering building material/hardware between Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast. From time to time there may be times where hand unloading is required.
We do require someone who has the ability to lift and carry building material inside homes.
Work is carried out of 2 businesses so learning both is a must so you are versatile and more of an asset to the business.
