MILK TANKER DRIVERS – LINEHAUL & FARM COLLECTIONS ( Reeve Bulk Food Transport )

The applicant will be required to drive MC B-Double tankers to collect raw milk off farm and deliver to Milk factories. Casual & Season positions available



In 1960’s Reeve Transport Business was commencing business as PA & J Smith Pty Ltd parents of Lynne Reeve Patrick and Jean Smith. In 1969, Bega Milk Supply became Reeve Transport – that company was established by Ross and Lynne Reeve – the 2nd generation of the family.

Ross and Lynne still retain an active interest in the business, but it is the 3rd generation of the Reeve family who now manage the business – Brett and his sisters Linda, Renae and Rebecca are part of the team who create Reeve Transport.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • MC B-Double tanker
  • Operate on-board computer (Mobicom)
  • Grade milk on site at farm
  • Wash vehicle externally and CIP tanker.
  • Complete necessary paperwork i.e. run sheets, communication docket and Reeve Milk Docket.
  • Shift and weekend work on a rotating roster.
  • Able to work independently and as a co-operative member of the team.
  • Practice and adhere to Reeve's policy and procedures.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal and external suppliers, work colleges and factory staff.
  • Deliver high quality customer service outcomes.
  • Comply with Legal Statutory WHS requirements and Reeves Policy and Management systems i.e. NHVAS and Safe Foods requirements.
  • Act responsibly to ensure the safety of self and others.
  • Follow safe work methods.
  • Identify and report hazards, accidents/incidents and ensure documentation is completed.
  • Respect farmer's private property and drive safely to conditions.
  • Confidentiality of farmer's supplier details.
  • Pre-start checks on combination.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Qualifications and licences include:
  • MC licence
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.

Desirable Qualifications and licences include:

  • BFM accredited.
  • Tanker experience.
  • Milk Grading Certificate.​
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • This applicant will be required to drive tankers in all weather conditions. This job entails weekend work on a rotating roster. You will need to be able to operate on board computers which capture farm litres and temperature and in cab tracking system which includes fatigue system.
