Centurion Mackay is currently looking for an experienced MC Driver to join the team full-time to be responsible for safely transporting freight to and from our Mackay depot.

About the Role
Due to recent growth Centurion is searching for an experienced MC Driver to safely transport freight to and from our Mackay depot customer specified sites, ensuring our supplier and customer commitments are met on schedule and in good condition. This is a Mackay based, night shift role commencing from 1:00AM operating from Monday-Friday with an expectation for reasonable additional overtime.
Duties
- Loading and unloading of general freight
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from required depots.
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- Current MC Driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience driving B-Doubles and shuttle nightshift work
- Accredited forklift ticket
- Dangerous Goods license
- Experienced BFM operator
