Rapid requires MC Linehaul Drivers to safely move ambient and refrigerated freight types predominantly between Adelaide and Melbourne with occasional regional runs.
These runs are generally depot to depot or single point deliveries and loading trips based out of Port Adelaide with minimal night run hours required.
To be considered for the role you:
- Hold a current Multi Combination (MC) driving license for more than two years;
- Are a capable and confident driver able to safely drive, reverse and park a b-double combination;
- Have experience with completing log book and fatigue management procedures or are willing to receive training;
- Are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screening;
- Are an Australian citizenship or have Permanent Residency with unrestricted working rights.
If successful, you will have:
- Excellent pay each week with superannuation paid monthly;
- Up to five regular runs with pre-set routes each fortnight from Adelaide to Melbourne and return, or occasionally Adelaide to regional and return;
- Sound modern vehicles with a comprehensive 24/7 driver support service;
- Secure on-site parking whilst away;
- A safe, clean and healthy work environment, with a uniform provided.
