We are currently looking for an experienced full time MC Float Driver to join our team.
You will be completing all tasks and duties required for driving around the local area, as well as long distance jobs.
Tasks and duties will include:
* carrying out routine vehicle checks
* loading and unloading machinery and equipment promptly and safely
* making sure loads are correctly placed and secure
* driving vehicles to their destination loading and unloading to site requirements
* maintaining log books with details of trips, including rest breaks on long trips
* fatigue management
* customer service
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
* minimum 10 years experience MC float driving
* have an MC licence
* be honest, reliable, punctual and self motivated
* have a high attention to detail
* have a great attitude and strong work ethic
* be capable and confident in your ability
* willingness to undertake various tasks
* MSIC card an advantage
* team player
Ideally, this position would suit someone with local area knowledge but some long-distance driving will also be required, so experience in this area is desirable. Knowledge of fatigue management practices would be an advantage
