Linehaul company on the north side of Brisbane is looking for MC drivers for runs to North Queensland, and occasionally some work to other locations in NSW and SA.
We\’ve just been awarded a couple of new contracts, and also had a driver resign, and are now looking for at least one other awesome MC driver to join JVB Transport. Location: Virginia.
THE ROLE
- Modern equipment, mostly Western Stars, mostly BD tautliner work
- Majority of runs are customer load/unload and single drop
- No waiting around for backloads
- Mostly M-F work, HOWEVER, there will be some weekend work required to meet customer requirements. As a general rule, this is shared amongst all drivers to ensure all drivers have some reasonable weekend time at home
- The majority of runs are to Nth Qld from our Brisbane depot, but there may also be the odd run here or there to Sydney, or Adelaide
- MC open license required, and some experience with road trains and/or oversize loads would also be looked upon favourably
THE OFFER
In terms of pay, JVB Transport offer ….
- $0.61+ per KM for BD work, more for RT\’s
- paid overnights
- paid loading
- paid unloading
- paid work for truck maintenance / wash / etc
- plus other hourly payments avail for yard / other work if carried out
- other paid initiatives in place
- plus Super, etc.
