Remote Transport Australia are seeking a reliable and experienced MC driver for local and interstate work.
Remote Transport Australia provides a range of transport solutions Australia wide including the construction, mining and agricultural industries. We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic and experienced drivers with a willingness to learn to join our Port Adelaide based team, with immediate start.
At Remote Transport Australia our drivers are seen to be the face of the business therefore interpersonal skills are considered a priority in this role. Applicants must also be able to work productively and safely in a team environment as well as work autonomously and pose a strong work ethic with a positive, can do attitude.
All applicants must have relevant experience, be able to provide work references and meet the following criteria:
- A current and unrestricted MC Drivers License
- A minimum of 2 years, on-road driving, and remote driving experience
- Provide driver history (within last 12 months)
- Proficiency in all aspects of transport operations
- Strong organisational skills and team values
- Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
- Dangerous Goods license or willing to obtain
- MSIC card or willing to obtain
- Prepared to undertake medical, drug and alcohol testing
- Comply with standard operating procedures and WHS requirements
- Ability to complete paper work
- Mechanically minded
- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks such as, loading trailer, tarping etc.
- Willing to work in remote areas and varying hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Willing to work away
In addition, it would be an advantage to have:
- Santos Pass
- Flinders Pass
- Rails Pass
