S. Kidman & Co is seeking an experienced Grader Operator for Sturt Creek, the outstation of Ruby Plains Station, situated 210km south of Halls Creek in the East Kimberley of Western Australia.
S. Kidman & Co is seeking an experienced Grader Operator for Sturt Creek, the outstation of Ruby Plains Station, situated 210km south of Halls Creek in the East Kimberley of Western Australia. The position is available for immediate commencement.
Reporting to the Outstation Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and general maintenance of a CAT 12H Grader. Duties include the maintenance of station roads, fencelines, airstrips and fire breaks, and general property observations during grading.
Applicants are required to have:
A current HR licence
Relevant earth works experience operating a Grader (ticketed preferred)
General station & machinery maintenance experience
Ability to observe general property needs, i.e. fencing, livestock health
Good communication & organisational skills
Self-motivation & the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
An appreciation for remote rural living.
Regular camping out is required. Single, air-conditioned accommodation and all meals are provided.
