MACHINE OPERATORS
Busselton Civil Pty Ltd is a long established company based in Busselton W.A. with operating divisions covering civil contracting, plant hire, sand extraction & supply, demolition and liquid waste. BCP are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators and Truck Drivers.
This position will require you to drive trucks and operate machines while assisting with labouring duties. You will need to be a good all-round worker when it comes to operating civil plant and willing to jump off the machines and get into the trenches.
Essential Attributes
To be considered for this position we are seeking the following skills and experience:
- Experience operating Loader, Excavator, Roller, Water-truck, Posi Track in Civil Construction (minimum 2 years’ experience)
- HR License (Minimum)
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively while unsupervised and as a team member.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to comply with Workplace Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental legislation and plan requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment and willingness to undertake minor maintenance activities and replacement of consumables.
- Willingness and ability to work away from home
- Appropriate plant operating competency certificates
- Construction Industry Induction (White/Blue Card)
- Willingness and ability to work away from home
- Ability to pass a drug/alcohol screen & company medical
