*Females encouraged to apply.* Hill & Co Goulburn is a fuel distribution company, We've been serving the Goulburn region, Sydney, South Coast, Young a& parts of the South West Slopes for over 50 yrs.
We have a position available for a rigid truck driver to join our farm delivery team to perform fuel deliveries to farms, commercial and industrial customers in the Goulburn, Southern Highlands, Braidwood and the South Coast areas, ex our depot in Goulburn.
The position would suit someone who has the ability to operate independently, with local knowledge of the area.
To be successful you must have:
- Minimum Unrestricted HR licence essential
- Over two years of road ranger driving experience
- Excellent driving record (Will need to produce upon request)
- Physically fit (A medical report will be conducted before commencement)
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures
- Confidently complete delivery paperwork and invoices
- Dangerous Goods Licence (Willing to consider applicants that can obtain this before commencement)
- Live in the Goulburn region
Duties include:
- Multiple deliveries per day. (This can include all types of roads)
- Assessing terrain and site safety before delivery
- Operation of pumping equipment on a delivery tanker
- Ascertaining fuel required to go into customer storage tanks
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Liaising with customers and office staff to ensure efficient deliveries
- Organising your own runs
- Making sure our bowsers on site for customers to use is always operational
- Cleaning of own truck and equipment
- Adhere to company OH&S, policies and procedures
While fuel delivery experience is not essential, immediate start is available for the right candidate. If you are looking for a stable Monday – Friday role with no Public Holiday work and only a Saturday once in a blue moon this could be for you!
