We are seeking a Leading Hand - Civil Construction, based in Altona North, VIC.
As a Leading Hand, you will be field-based and running a crew of 3 men to do dig outs and other civil works, be responsible for managing all sewer rehabilitation works. The role will be a minimum 50hrs per week.
Specifically, you will:
Repair damaged sewer and storm water pipes
Read site plans and communicate with supervisors/managers
Conduct confined space entry and live sewer work
Work under strict OH&S conditions
About you
Previous experience in sewer rehabilitation works
Hold a current HR/HC drivers licence (would be desirable)
Hardworking, reliable, and well-organised
Knowledge in using trench (ground support) shoring
Previous excavator experience
Background in Plumbing (Desirable)
