We are accredited with NHVAS, Trucksafe & ISO Accreditations.
Due to current expansion, we currently have a vacancy for a MC truck driver Melbourne based to become an integral part of our business. The position involves transportation of General Freight, 98% tautliner work.
Qualifications & experience
- MC Drivers Licence (copy of driving history required)
- BFM Advantageous
- Good understanding of load restraint for general FTL freight
- Well presented, good communication skills, reliable, self-motivator and punctual work ethic
- Knowledge of State /Commonwealth Safety Legislation and standards, follow company compliance for all Safety, Fatigue and policies
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist with Loading and Unloading general FTL freight using company processes and comply with Safety Management systems. NO Multi Drops
- Ensure deliveries and time slots are made in within accurate and timely manner;
- Complete Daily truck & trailer prestart check list & Driver log dockets;
- Ensure all paperwork (POD\’s) are correctly signed and submitted to BMR as per company procedures.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure truck/trailers are always clean and safe;
