Australia Post are currently looking for skilled and experienced HR or HC Truck Drivers to work over the busy Christmas period
Australia Post is one of Australia's most trusted service providers. Coming up to our busy Christmas period, we are seeking experienced and confident truck drivers to work at one of our major facilities based at the Melbourne Transport Facility in Dandenong.
Shifts will vary and can be through the afternoon/night and early hours of the morning. Start times are either between midday and 2.00pm, or working from 10.00pm or 11.30pm for a full time shift. All shifts are 5 days a week and on a rotating roster. These shifts will continue to the end of January 2016, with plenty of opportunities to stay on for employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Deliveries will be for our internal network (Delivery Centres, Mail Centres, Parcel Centres) and our customer networks, all based in the Melbourne metropolitan area.
To be considered you will need to:
– Hold a current Australian Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination licence
– Hold a current Australian Forklift licence
– Be able to pass a National Police Check and a pre employment medical including drug testing (paid for by Australia Post)
