HR DRIVER – CASUAL VIC-19216 ( Retail Transport Group )

This role is as easy as it gets when it comes to driving roles. You will be employed to drive a truck from our customers distribution centre to their various store locations around Victoria.
This role supports country stores a lot of the time.
All that\’s required for the role is a good friendly can do attitude, the ability to place and remove the load restraints (PO-GO sticks generally) as well as load straps on the side curtain trucks.
There is some general light manual handling required (roll cages, no lifting boxes etc manually) other wise it is a pallet based roll with a pallet jack to unload.
The ideal candidate will need to remain flexible so as to move between contracts within the company due to any load planning as required.
You may also be required to swap in to a MR / HR and if licenced HC truck.
The ability to do long days in the truck as and when they maybe required is highly regarded. (nothing over legal driving hours).
Experience with tailgate is highly regarded, on occasion it is required for store deliveries.
To be eligible for this role you will need a police check (Federal), a complete Vic Roads history check and in some cases also a drug and alcohol screen check to be completed prior to employment.
