Heavy Rigid Driver required for Sydney Metro / NSW Regional Dangerous Goods deliveries. Great incentives, well maintained gear, high profile company.
Camlin Investments are looking for a motivated HR licenced driver to provide timely and accurate cylinder deliveries to our local Sydney customers. Based out of our Yennora Depot, the role will work closely with the Branch Manager on a daily basis.
The Role:
The successful applicant must be a self-starter with a clean and tidy appearance and possess solid reading and writing skills. Duties include:
- Service oriented approach – A ‘can do’ attitude with an ability to problem solve / provide solutions;
- Fleet Maintenance – Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance if required;
- Documentation – National Driver Diary completion, monitoring work / rest periods, iPad-based communication and reporting;
- Delivery – Adhere to delivery schedules and reporting requirements;
- Compliance – Report defects, accidents or violations as necessary;
- Adherence – To the Australian Dangerous Goods Code of Practice as well as Company Policies and Procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years HR driving experience;
- Valid HR / HC licence, with full RMS license history printout;
- Valid Forklift licence;
- Vehicle mounted crane experience (desirable);
- Willing to obtain DG licence.
