Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic-25896 ( Richers Transport )

We currently have a full-time job available for a Trade Qualified, Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic based in our Maryborough Workshop.

Working in our well-equipped workshop this position offers a fantastic work life balance. Duties include maintaining and repairing all vehicles in the Richers Transport fleet, attend to emergency call outs and breakdowns and maintain a clean and safe work environment. 

This position is Monday to Friday and is based on 38-hour ordinary week. All additional hours, Saturday work and Call out hours are paid under an enterprise agreement.

Our above award pay rates will be determined by experience and discussed in full during the interview.

You will be required to be able to work under limited supervision within a team environment. Possess basic electronic/electrical skills – formal or otherwise. Exercise good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to understand and apply quality control measures. A licence to operate forklifts and heavy vehicles would be an advantage.
