HEAVY TOW TRUCK OPERATOR-28343 ( Barnes Auto Co )

About the Role:

This full-time permanent position will suit someone who is looking for a hands on and versatile role. With experience and time, you will be given the opportunity to learn to do everything from; tow broken down trucks, recover vehicles/machinery from bogs to the recovery of a heavy vehicle after a major traffic accident. Candidates based between Logan and the Gold Coast are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving and operation of a Heavy Tow Truck.
• Loading and unloading casualty vehicles.
• Changing tyres where required.
• Maintain records such as logbooks, pre starts etc.
• Attending accidents where a heavy vehicle is involved
• Working independently and without supervision

Previous towing experience is not required, training on towing and recovery requirements and techniques will be provided.
