Role and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Heavy Combination vehicle, transporting goods within regional Victoria and occasionally locally.
- Transport dangerous goods in compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
- Plan routes and schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Combination (HC) license.
- Dangerous Goods license (DG) is essential.
- Proven experience in HC driving, with a good driving record.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle varying delivery demands.
- Flexibility for occasional local work when needed.
