Commandex is looking for an experienced HC or above Truck Driver to join our team. It is a full time position with a 6 month probation period. Business location is the Southside of Brisbane.
Some key duties are:
- Driving to Sydney from Brisbane, and making deliveries to our valued customers along the way, predominantly forklift unload.
- Completing logbook
- Vehicle daily check and coordinating vehicle maintenance
- Oversee loading & unloading of the load
- Securing the load
- Liaising with customers
- Suitable candidate will possess the following:
- Must have a HC or above License.
- Competent and experienced with load restraint.
- Must be able to be away from home on a weekly basis for travel interstate – Brisbane – Sydney.
- Some mechanical knowledge and experience; change a tyre, fix an air-line, change a trailer plug etc.
- Able to demonstrate great work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Current medical, open to random drug & alcohol screening and white card
- Self-motivated, have the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills between customers & staff members
- Contactable and recent work references
