Priddey Trucking Co is looking for 1 x HC and 1 x HR drivers
Priddey Trucking Co are a small family run business in the Asphalt and Machinery construction business, that prides ourselves on giving the customer the attention and care that only a small transportaion company can offer.
We currently have 2 x HC Driver positions available. Work will primarily be in the Asphalt divison with the occasional shift covering, flat top work and machinery moves. Shifts are day or night with the occasional away work required.
Key Duties include:
- Conduct Pre-start inspections of the trucks an trailers and report any faults to management
- Transporting materials including asphalt, profilings and quarry materials from various Asphalt Plants to Project Sites or transport from Project Sites to Asphalt Plants/Dump Sites
- Administration duties including docketing and other paperwork as required, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctely and efficiently
- Cleaning and maintaining of the trucks and trailers to a high standard
- Participate and actively take part in Tool Box Talks
- Comply with OH&S Policy
Required Skills
- HC Open Licence or Higher (crash box experience)
- Blue/White Card
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol test
- Strong commitment to safety
- The ability to work independently, be self-motivated with a professional and courteous manner
- Available to work Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday Nights with weekends as required
- Availble to work away when required
Experience would be preferred but willing to teach the right person.
