We required experienced HC drivers who want to experience the drive in our modern and comfortable fleet working from our Port Adelaide facility.
VISA Global Logistics is the third largest wharf cartage carrier and provides a complete end-to-end service offering inclusive of pick up at origin, air freight and sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and transport. Unlike our competitors, VGL provides these services in-house, giving us greater control and flexibility throughout the freight-forwarding, warehousing and transport journey.
We required experienced HC drivers who want to experience the drive in our modern and comfortable fleet working from our Port Adelaide facility. Applicable penalty rates apply. Weekend opportunities also available.
Your working day will include:
- Picking up and delivery of goods to and from the wharf and customer premises
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer requirements are met on a daily basis
- Filling out daily run-sheets with pre-trip inspection details
- Understanding and respecting our fleet
As a driver within our fleet you will have:
- Current HC Licence – essential
- MC Licence – preferred but not essential
- Semi with Sideloader experience – essential
- 1-Stop MSIC card – essential
- Ability to use and adapt to our inhouse online tracking and trace systems
- Be a team player and have the ability to work autonomously
- Strong customer service focus with ability to build rapport with customers
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in high pressure situations
- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain a high level of self-motivation
- Honest, open, friendly and well presented
- Successful candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment medical testing
