Rangeview Transport is a family owned and operated plant transport company based in Silvan Victoria. We deliver plants, flowers, horticulture products and general freight to QLD, NSW, ACT, SA, Country Victoria and Metro Melbourne. We need a full time Transport Supervisor to support our Depot Manager with a possible immediate start if suited.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Dispatching
- Training
- Scheduling
- Rostering
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Reporting to the depot manager and owners
You will need to have the following skills:
- Provide direction and leadership to approximately 30 staff.
- Be physical fit
- Follow company polices, procedures and systems.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare delivery schedules and rosters on a weekly basis.
- Trustworthy and professional people management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and planning.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working in a high pressure, deadline driven organisation.
- Capable of taking ownership and been accountable.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Strong computer literacy experience.
- Demonstrate prior experience in transport logistics.
- Have a minimum HC truck driving licence
This role would suit and individual who wants to succeed in a company where real value and positive results can be provided with a high attention to detail and an extensive experience in administration and management. The position is full time with a 6 month probation period. You will be required to work Mondays to Fridays 10am to around 8pm with occasional Saturdays.
