Daryl Dickenson Transport is a family owned and run business. Through our vision we continue to grow and set the benchmarks within the transport industry.
We are looking for a permanent driver to be based in Salisbury who thrives on working in a team environment. We offer above award wages, all PPE to be supplied and the possibility of flexible hours. If you are happy to not only drive a truck but also assist with other tasks and duties this role will be suited to you. This position is for someone who likes to get out of the truck and join in with the physical work onsite.
There are also the opportunities for you to be trained in other divisions of the company.
You will become one of the team and your responsibilities will include –
- Loading trucks and trailers
- Delivering loads locally to customers
- Have good customer service skills
- Tarping loads
- Ensuring the loads are restrained correctly
To be a successful applicant you will need to have:
- Have a current HC or MC drivers license
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Safety driven
- Work well in a close team environment
Experience is valuable; however reliability, motivation, and a positive attitude are essential. We pride ourselves on having high safety standards and constantly striving for excellence.
