Western suburbs general freight company requires an experienced forklift operator with HR licence for a fulltime role.
To be successful in this roll you will be confident to safely operate forklifts within a warehouse environment handling a variety of general freight and completing other warehouse duties.
You will also need to be confident in driving a 14 pallet tautliner rigid on occasions delivering and picking up freight from Melbourne and Country Victoria.
Essential Criteria:
– Current Workcover High Risk Work Licence – LF
– Current HR Truck Licence
– Experience handling general freight including steel products
– Experience loading/unloading transport vehicles and operating forklifts within a warehouse environment
– Ability to complete physical work including some manual handling and lifting duties.
– Reliable transport to and from work
– Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
Experience with the use of dogs, chains and tarps is preferred but not essential.
