Pickering Transport are seeking professional, patient and experienced Linehaul Drivers who enjoy a fast-paced environment to join the team.
PTG have full time and casual positions available for immediate start. Flexible shifts with weekend work available.
Responsibilities:
· Delivering various types of freight.
· Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
· Securing loads.
· Manual handling.
· Overtime available.
· Customer Service
· The Person:
A current MC Licence is essential.
A current Forklift Licence preferred.
Dangerous Goods, MISC card and BFM is desirable.
Previous long haul, change over, interstate and local experience in safely transporting general and refrigerated freight.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a team.
Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service skills.
A high safety initiative.
Clean and tidy presentation.
Ability to perform the physical tasks of the role including bending, manual handling and manual labour.
Ability to provide evidence of a safe driving history.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and Pre-employment Physical.
