Francis Transport is seeking a HC licenced driver for a permanent full-time position based in our Corowa depot.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is required to display a commitment to safety and compliance standards.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Local and yard work
- Some HR work will be involved
- Mature attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Forklift licence
- Daily prestart checks
- Complying with coupling & uncoupling trailers and tug test procedures
- Completing con notes/run sheets and ensuring you collect all critical paperwork
- Commitment to health and safety and adhering to all relevant OH&S legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Good understanding of load restraint
- Experience with dog & chain
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- Mature attitude with the ability to work independently
- National Police check required & driving history
The successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
