DG Tanker Drivers – Local & Long Distance
DRB Haulage
We are seeking professional tanker drivers.
Excellent working conditions in an established family company.
Positions vacant are :
- Local LPG deliveries with some long distance trips required in busy periods
- Long Distance LPG / Anhydrous Ammonia deliveries
Successful applicants will be NON smokers and have stable employment history (2-3 years min in past roles), good driving history with a MIN of 6 points – and NO Serious driving offences in the last 3 years, a high regard for safety & customer service. Previous experience in petroleum industry is not essential – however the right attitude is.
This is NOT a Monday to Friday position.
Minimum requirements are:
• Current Dangerous Goods licence (Copy to be sent with resume)
• Clean MC/HC licence & good driving record (Copy of Traffic Record dated within last month covering the last 5 year period to be sent with resume)
• A professional personal presentation & attitude with the ability to adapt to change
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written & verbal direction
• Attention to detail and focus on customer service
• Min 2 years recent heavy combination experience is anecessity
• 2 years recent Road Ranger experience is required
• The position is 24/7 so the ability to work flexible hours on rolling roster (including nights & weekends)
• Ability to work within an established Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) system
• Pride in the safe operation and presentation of equipment
You will be required to display a commitment to our Safety Standards and values whilst maintaining your allocated vehicle in good order.
Developing effective working relationships with customers and your peers will be critical to successful applications.
You will be required to provide a copy of your current licences, a current traffic report and meet our employment criteria which includes a full medical with a drug & alcohol testing and police check.
