Casual Experienced CoachDriver/Guide for Day Tours
Ballina-Byron Tours is the market leader in senior’s tours to Northern NSW. We operate Day Tours from Ballina and are looking for an experienced, energetic Driver/Guide who can deliver an exciting, informative, entertaining day tour whilst providing an exceptional level of customer service.
The right person will have a passion for our beautiful region, great public speaking skills and a thirst for knowledge.
Our Day Tours generally operate on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. The position is a casual position and would suit some-one who is semi-retired.
The successful applicant would need to be available from 20th December 2018 to 25th December 2018 inclusive to drive/guide their first group of day tours.
Essential Criteria
·A valid Medium Rigid (MR), Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) Licence
·A minimum of 2 years experience driving a heavy vehicle(trucks, buses or coaches)
·Provide a current demerit point statement confirming your license status.
·NSW Public Passenger Driver Authority
·Good & safe driving record.
·Excellent clear verbal communication skills
Desirable Criteria
·Previous tour driving experience with commentary
·Excellent customer service skills.
·Ability to establish strong working relationships with vendors and staff
·Ability to recognise and accept change
·Ability to assess situations and make quick and practical decisions
