CASUAL LOCAL DRIVER ( Remo's Transport Pty Ltd )

A Monday to Friday minimum 4 hour casual position is available with Remo's Transport Pty Ltd (Billabong Freight & Parcels).

This team player position will lead into full time hours as the business grows and/or during our seasonal busiest months of the year. Unless called to start work earlier the position usually will start around 1:30pm and finish approximately 5:30pm. You must be available on-call with not much notice Monday to Friday.

Predominantly helping with local pick-ups and deliveries you will also be required to travel to towns such as Falls Creek VIC and Jerilderie NSW. Remo's Transport also provide a hotshot service requiring you to travel within the Albury/ Wodonga region as well as the occasional long distance delivery run.

Mainly working on your own you must have high attention to detail with accurate record and reporting skills and neat hand writing.

Having a heavy rigid licence and the ability to drive a manual van you will need to have exceptional local knowledge of businesses and the local surrounding towns. Extremely good customer service is a must have. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and pick up of goods, representing our company in a professional and cost effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
