Sunchip Group have an opportunity for two experienced trades people to join our team, we are looking for a boilermaker and an infield diesel mechanic.
These roles are responsible for providing safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance to our fleet of Mack and Kenworth Trucks and our fleet of John Deere forestry equipment. These roles incorporate working as part of a team, performing planned tasks and breakdown maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs regarding all mechanical aspects of equipment within our fleet.
ABOUT THE ROLE- Boilermaker
- Qualified boilermaker
- General welding repairs and fabrication
- Trailer repairs and maintenance
- Hardfacing/repairs
- Mix of workshop and on-site work
- Experience with trailers/ logging equipment highly regarded.
ABOUT THE ROLE- Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Infield
- Must be Fully qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Infield based position performing day to day repairs, maintenance and services to our forestry equipment. Some workshop work as required.
- Experience with John Deere and Waratah forestry equipment.
