Assistant Storeperson/MR Driver/Forklift Operator ( Franklyn Blinds Awnings Security )
Franklyn Blinds Awnings Security is looking to expand its warehouse team and are looking for experienced people in warehouse / logistics for our brand new factory at Rochedale.
The position is a mixture of both forklift and manual movements of stock. You will need to have a good work ethic but will be rewarded by working in a modern, clean, well-supported factory warehouse environment that puts its customers’ needs first. Franklyn maintains high standards for its products and its’ people. As such our team members must, and do, take pride in their work and are focussed on continuous improvement because “if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right”. To be successful you will need to demonstrate proven skills in the following areas:
- Receiving and invoicing
- Forklift ticket and MR license
- Hi Bay pallet rack forklift work
- Packing and despatch
- There is some heavy team lifting involved
- Comfortable performing repetitive work.
- Take pride in your work
- Work as part of a team and be self-motivated.
- Be of good character, reliable, with a positive attitude towards your work and your colleagues.
A forklift ticket and relevant forklift experience is mandatory, as is an MR truck license. Experience operating a hub-tec would be looked upon favourably also.
