At 1800DRIVERS we interview you over the phone and utilize the internet to save you driving all over town to meet and give copies of your licences etc. ONGOING ROLES DAY SHIFT & AFTERNOON SHIFT
You’ll be an experienced counterbalance forklift operator skilled with loading/unloading palletised freight from various trailers and containers.
Prior to starting this role you will be required to complete a on site skills assessment by the client’s inhouse trainer.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a forklift – counterbalance
Efficiently load/unload trucks and shipping containers
Experienced with load restraint and weight distribution
Competencies:
Current LF Forklift license
Former Transport/Warehouse experience
Experience of loading/unloading various trailers
Experience loading/unloading palletised freight
Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
